The team enjoyed new sights, sounds, foods, worship and cultural experiences, shopping, and many new friends.
Pray for our church to know how God wants us to reach out and start friendships with South Asian people here in Duluth.

Yucatan, Mexico
Drilling a Well & Bath House Build

The next mission team to the Yucatan will work with our partner church plant in Solferino, Mexico to drill a well to provide much needed water to this village. The team will also contruct a bath house to provide necessary amenities like showers and washing stations to wash clothing.
Student Ministry International Mission Trip to Yucatan

The FBCD Student Ministry summer mission trip went to Cancun, Mexico this year. We partnered with Mauricio and Laura Menesses, who work with the Georgia Baptist Convention (GBC). Mauricio and Laura live in Cancun full time and actually live in the mission house where we stayed. Throughout the week, we participated in a combination of a few different things including VBS w/kids, street evangelism, light construction, and a nightly revival meeting.
