Seize the Moment (Revelation 3:7-13)
Unlike many of the other churches, Philadelphia receives no word of condemnation from the Lord. Instead, Jesus commends them for keeping His Word, remaining faithful to His name, and continuing to serve despite their limitations.
Jesus reminds them that He alone has the authority to open doors that no one can shut. Because they have remained faithful, He promises to sustain them, humble their opposition, and keep them through the trials ahead.
In “Seize the Moment,” we are challenged to recognize the opportunities Christ places before us, remain faithful with the strength we have, and hold firmly to what He has given us. Jesus is coming—so hold on to your crown, stay faithful, and seize the moment while the door is open.
