Our Music and Worship Ministry seeks to be “Bible-Based, Christ-Centered, and Culturally Connected.” “Bible-Based” means that the Word of God is our primary fuel for worship. “Christ-Centered” means that worship is all about JESUS! And Culturally-Connected means that we are intentionally diverse, ethnically and generationally.

Here are the different groups within our Music and Worship Ministry:

Worship Choir – This group is open to anyone who has a desire to praise the Lord in a choral setting. Weekly rehearsals take place during the school year on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 p.m. in the Music Suite, and there are occasional special rehearsals for seasonal productions. The ability to read music is not a requirement for being a part of this group.

Orchestra – Our orchestra meets most Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. in the worship center. The orchestra provides accompaniment for congregational and choral songs, as well as presenting preludes, meditations, and offertories.

Golden Notes – The Golden Notes is a choir made up of Sr. Adults who love to sing and have fun! They meet weekly at 4:00 p.m. in the music suite. They minister in area retirement centers and nursing homes, as well as taking occasional ministry trips. They also participate in statewide Sr. Adult Choir events.

Tech Team – This group provides sound, video, and lighting support for all of our services and special programs. If you have previous experience in this area, or simply feel that you are competent in any of these technical areas and have a desire to serve, please click the link above!
