Hope is more than wishful thinking—it is the foundation that gives believers strength to endure, persevere, and flourish. When hope is absent, our strength becomes exhausted, our focus shifts away from the Savior, and our ability to succeed in God’s purposes is diminished.

Jesus speaks to the church in Ephesus—a church known for hard work, perseverance, discernment, and faithfulness. They had endured hardship, rejected false teaching, and remained committed to serving Christ.

Yet despite all they were doing right, Jesus identified one serious problem: they had abandoned the love they had at first.
